In October of 2008 Jana and I drove up to Pueblo, Colorado to meet old friends and to plant a seed to start the planning for Alamosa High School Alamosa Colorado Class of 1960 Reunion. Five couples met, Frank and Elaine Newton from Denver, Tom and Sandy Higel from Colorado Springs, Charles and Marge Asay from Colorado Springs, Dave and Alice Dawson from Port William, Scotland, and Don and Jana Crawford from Albuquerque, NM. We had a great visit and we decided we would take on this task. Marge and Charles are our leaders and Frank and Don are helping gather addresses since they were involved in the last reunion. I have not in the past been a blogger but thought I would try this medium as a way to make contact with and gather information about our classmates so that it can be added to a yet to be published web page (working on it but would like a little more meat before I publish to the web). Of course my first task here is to figure out how to get this posted and let people know that I have a blog.

Belated Merry Christmas to one and all. We thought we might have a white Christmas but the storms stayed north of Albuquerque. We have had the snow and the Sandias are beautiful.  The photo is taken with my Canon D40 digital camera and is four photos stiched to make one panoramic shot.  It is not perfect but not bad for my second try.  The shot at the top of my blog is my first attempt.  I am trying to capture the four seasons.  The photos are taken from our church property.

New blogger

I am starting this blog because my daughter has a blog that is such a joy to read and works so well to keep us informed on what is going on in their busy lives. I do not know if I will keep as complete a diary but I will try and what better way to start the new year? The photo is our Christmas 2008 photo.
